"Austin is a passionate singer/songwriter with a talent to get that special hook that you'll be singing to yourself the rest of the day."
- Ryan Chiaverini, Host of ABC7 Windy City Live Chicago
“Every once in a while an artist comes along with the entire package. The ability to not only write a great song but also to perform it in such a way they bring it to life. Austin Hopkins does that with every song he puts out.”
- Al Yardy, Owner KB Country Radio
Growing up the youngest of five brothers, Austin was exposed to a variety of music. From Michael Jackson, to Nirvana, Aerosmith and the Beatles, he enjoyed it all, but there was something about country music that spoke to him.
Once he discovered Garth Books, he found himself trying to replicate Garth’s sound. From that point Austin knew he wanted to have a career in singing. He would sing along with the radio and would record mix tapes. He found himself enthralled with the structure, lyrics and stories in songs, which ultimately inspired him to become a singer-songwriter.
He grew up and still resides in the suburbs of Chicago. His distinctive voice gives him a unique mix between country twang and modern pop. Austin bases his music on real life situations so the listener can really relate to the lyrics. CLICK HERE TO SEE FULL BIO
